Sangini Singh Makes the School Proud by Winning All India Best Cadet Award
Sangini Singh of class IX has made the school proud by winning the NCC All India Best Cadet award in Junior Wing of NCC (Army). She Received the award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28 January on the occasion of NCC PM Rally held in New Delhi. It is a great achievement and she has brought laurels not only to the school but to the entire Directorate of Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Pondicherry. One needs to be multi-talented to win this prestigious award. Winning the coveted baton from the PM Sangini proved wrong the assumption that NCC is not just “Marchpast”or “Drill”. For Sangini taking part in the Republic Day Camp held in Delhi was a long cherished dream and winning the Gold medal was the icing on the cake.
