Athletics
Athletics is considered to be the mother of all games and is, in fact, a way of life and not just a sport. An athlete is an all-round sportsperson with skills for cricket, football, tennis and has immense control over his body and senses. Athletics not only builds the pupils physically but it helps in body coordination and gives the pupils mental steadiness.
We have a 400-mtr mud track with 6 lanes along with Jumping and Throwing facilities. The athletes are provided with ample opportunities to participate in various levels of competitions such as State, Junior National, IPSC and at the SGFI. Under the guidance of Dr. Beena Varghese and Dr. Jaswant Sisodia our athletes have won the IPSC Trophy for many years. We also won the SGFI Gold medal in athletics.
