With such a long and wonderful history behind the School, no wonder the Alumni network is one of the strong pillars of the institution.

 

The Old Lawrencians Association is the official body that is run and driven by the Alumni. Please visit: www.olalovedale.com

 

Besides this Alumni body, the School has opened an Alumni Relations Office at Lovedale that will seek to carry out the following functions:

 

1.     Networking with Old Lawrencians to build a stronger and more connected fraternity.  This Office will maintain a batch-                wise, profession-wise and city-wise database of Old Lawrencians.

 

2.      Establish an office in School to serve as a liaison between the institution and its stakeholders – alumni and well-wishers.

 

3.     Organize funding campaigns for capital projects, students’ scholarship, student welfare, support staff welfare, teacher                    development and other development programmes. 

 

4.     Align with the Strategic Never Give In Campaign Plan 2013-2018 with special reference to the Vision and Mission of the                School.

A Cycling Journey to the end of the World – Mr. Jacob Joy (OL 90) did a 4000km bicycle ride from Italy through 8 countries to reach the top of the European continent  Nordkapp, Norway.

Dr Firdaus Hirji Adenwalla (OL 83) winner of The Marjory Warren Lifetime Achievement Award 2024.

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth AVSM  is a serving general officer in the Indian Army, and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Command since November 2023. Lt. General Dhiraj Seth, AVSM, is the first OL Army Commander (Class of 1983).

Shonali Chinniah (class of 1987) is the founder member and Director of a company called “Curiouscity Science Education Pvt Ltd”.

Rear Admiral P G Philipose, class of 82 has been awarded the Ati Vashist Seva Medal. 

Anand Mahindra, OL Class of 1970 was awarded the Padma Bhushan Award for Trade and Industry for the year 2020. 

Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management of Tamil Nadu - is Class of 1983.

Jose Dominic is Class of 1966 and has started the leading eco-friendly hotel chain in Kerala. CGH Group of Hotels - CGH stands for Casino Group of Hotels and also Clean, Green & Healthy.
